The Sharing Program provides classes on a large rangea variety of topics, and the occasion highlighted the work achieved in those classes, with place cards, table signs and centerpieces made by individuals in the painting class and creative art workshop, under the instructions of Gerry Claude.
Joan Ingram directed the fashion show, which featured clothing offered by SteinMart. The fashion program ended with a rousing rendition of George M. Cohans Yankee Doodle Dandy with the audience waving American flags to the music supplied by Kenny Martinez.
Furthermore, attendees took part in the Hat Contest, sporting numerous chapeaux which they made. The second-place winners were Makin Groceries with hats bearing boxes and cans.
The Grand Prize winners were the table Aint Dere No More, with hats representing Maison Blanche, KB, Pelican Stadium, the Bali Hai Restaurant, Pontchartrain Beach, Jax Brewery, McKenzies and other lost companies.
